Personal Objectivity - A gun-appraisals.com online appraiser shall act as an informed professional who objectively expresses knowledgeable opinions as to the value of the property being appraised at given points of time and within specified circumstances.
  • Conclusion - A gun-appraisals.com online appraiser shall arrive at an independent numerical conclusion based on knowledge, thorough research and experience without the undue influence of any other party.

• Confidentiality - gun-appraisals.com online appraisers shall maintain the confidentiality of their relationship with gun-appraisals.com regarding the property that is being appraised.
• Access - A gun-appraisals.com's online appraiser shall respect the right of gun-appraisals.com 's access to all documents and information concerning appraisal work.
• Diligence - A gun-appraisals.com online appraisers shall apply due diligence and make himself/herself reasonably available during all stages of the appraisal process.
• Conflict of Interest - gun-appraisals.com online appraisers must avoid situations which represent a conflict of interest. Online appraisers may not be listed as a buyer on the gun-appraisals.com website.
• Expertise - gun-appraisals.com online appraisers should accept only appraisal assignments which fall within their field of expertise unless they are willing to take steps to see that the necessary research is done.
• Payment- Payment to appraisers is done on a monthly basis. Payment is not made for incomplete or unsuccessful appraisals. All funds are in USD drawn on a bank in the United States. Checks will be paid to the name and address of the appraiser as registered with the site. Payment is made by the 15th of the month for the previous month's completed appraisals. RESPONSIBILITIES TO gun-appraisals.com AND THE CLIENT
• Policy Statements - gun-appraisals.com online appraisers shall not, unless authorized, make any oral or written policy statement on behalf of gun-appraisals.com™
• Privileged Information - gun-appraisals.com online appraisers shall maintain the confidentiality of privileged information known to them by virtue of their position.
• Conduct - gun-appraisals.com online appraiser shall deal honestly and fairly with all clients and other business associates, treating them with professional courtesy and dignity.
• Disparagement - A gun-appraisals.com online appraiser shall not make disparaging statements or implication regarding a colleague.
• A gun-appraisals.com online appraiser shall not interfere with his/her right to practice, serve, or compete to the full extent of the colleagues' knowledge, competence, and abilities.
Conflict of Interest
In order to maintain impartiality, Online appraisers may not sign-up to become buyers on our website. They may however, register as various other types of business partners or affiliates.

Meet the Appraiser
Within the "Meet the Appraiser" section of the website, customers are able to view information supplied to us by online appraisers including their picture, affiliations, and credentials. Customers will not have access to appraiser's email address or any personal contact information.

Turnaround Time
We strive to provide a maximum 72 hr. turnaround time on Classic and Deluxe Appraisals and a 24 hr. turnaround time on Express Appraisals.  Turnaround time for Classic and Deluxe Appraisals is calculated from the time that the appraisal has been submitted or from the time that the appraisal has been re-submitted with additional information requested. 
Unlike the Classic and the Deluxe, the countdown clock on Express Appraisals does not stop when the appraiser requests further information from the customer.
Online appraisers have the ability to go to their Profile Page on the site and take themselves "inactive" while they are on vacation or otherwise unavailable.

ENFORCEMENT OF THIS CODE
• Violation of Standards - gun-appraisals.com shall investigate all instances of gun-appraisals.com online appraisers who have been accused of willfully violating these standards.
• Disciplinary Action - Disciplinary action, if any, for violation of any portion of this Code shall be immediate dismissal as a gun-appraisals.com online appraiser.
