Receiving Email from gun-appraisals.com and Wiw2u.com

Increasingly, ISPs (rogers, bell sympatico, etc) and mail services (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail), even AOL, are using filtering systems to try to keep spam out of customers' mailboxes. Sometimes, though, they accidentally filter the email that you do want to receive.

To make sure that mail related to “gun-appraisals.com and Wiw2u.com” is not deleted or filtered into a "junk", "spam", or "bulk" folder, please add the following addresses to your list of trusted senders (“white list”) and/or your Address Book / contact list (in your email settings):

Depending on which type of email software you use, we have created the following instructions to help you:

Yahoo!

1. Open your Yahoo mailbox.
2. Click Mail Options.
3. Click Filters.
4. Next, click Add Filter.
5. In the top row, labeled From header:, make sure contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
6Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address in the "From" line of your most recent email from us
7. At the bottom, where it says Move the message to:, select Inbox from the pull-down menu.
8. Click the Add Filter button again.

Hotmail

1. Click the Options tab.
2. Select Safe List. (It's under the heading Mail Handling.)
In the space provided, enter the address in the "From" line of your most recent email from us. Click Add.
3. When you see the address you entered in the Safe List box, click OK.

AOL

1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
2. Select the screen name we're sending your most recent email from us.
3. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.
For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include both of these domains:

gun-appraisals.com

For AOL version 8.0: Select Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains.
4. Click Next until the Save button shows up at the bottom.
5. Click Save.

Others

Many popular e-mail programs, including Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape Mail, don't provide a convenient way for you to white-list the folks you want to receive e-mail from. If you're using this sort of e-mail system and you either are not receiving our automatic site emails or our newsletters,  you can do something about it.

Contact the customer service representatives or the Postmaster at the company that provides your e-mail or Internet connection (your ISP). Explain to them that  gun-appraisals.com and/or Wiw2u.com are e-mails that you value and that you specifically asked for. Ask them if they can white-list. They'll probably ask you for some information about us. Here's what to tell them:

Sending Address: If they ask for our address, give them the address in the "From" line of your most recent email
Domain: If they need to know the domain we're mailing from, tell them both of these:

IP Address: If they ask for our sending IP address, tell them both of these:

NOTE: Since your client-side email software is the very end of the line, email may be filtered out before it reaches there. If you don't get email that you are expecting, check with your ISP for help.

And, if all else fails, call or email your ISP/mail service's tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all email from gun-appraisals.com and wiw2u.com. Follow their instructions for white-listing our domain.
